Object Name Sherd
Description One sherd of black on yellow-gray pottery. Rim sherd of Glaze I Yellow type. The sherd is decorated with black designs on a light grey/yellow background. The exterior of the sherd is decorated simply with eleven lines parallel to the rim bisected with a single vertical line. The horizontal lines are broken into a group of five and a group of six, each group extending from the vertical line on only one side. The interior of the sherd has a band decoration. A thick black line marks the interior edge of the rim. Two thinner black lines run parallel to the thick line and create a border for a single set of diagonal lines. Dots are between these two diagonal lines. To close the band pattern, a single black line creates a border on the bottom of the sherd.
