Various materials found together in woodchopper's shack, c. 1900 as follows:
2 ceramic sherds, one blue and white interior & exterior, one blue and white interior, white exterior. 3 ceramic sherds, red w/ brown glaze.
22 glass fragments, three that join to form the mouth of screw top jar, two rectangular that joined spell ' r and union tea co.', three with ruffled edges, fourteen plain. 1 partial glass bottle, rectangular with the words 'grand union T company' in raised lettering, 1 complete jar, small with metal top, orange substance inside, with the words 'The Larkin Soap MFG Co, Buffalo NY' in raised letters.
8 nails. 1 embossed metal fragment, circular, flat, broken, possible a buckle. 2 large, heavy metal fragments, possible part of a wood stove, heavily corroded. A small bag of corroded metal fragments that have presumably fallen off of the other metal pieces.
