Description |
One silver, spoon-shaped tupu with jewel at top of shaft. Engraved bird on flower. The ornate style of these pins originated in the Cusco region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The function and shape resemble tupus worn by women from Pre-Inca times. This example reflects European-inspired Baroque. |
