Description |
One silver, spoon-shaped tupu with leaf scroll work on both sides of shaft and flower motif in bowl. Pin at back. The ornate style of these pins originated in the Cusco region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The function and shape resemble tupus worn by women from Pre-Inca times. This example reflect European-inspired Baroque. |
