Description |
One pedestal basket with round bowl. Compound construction. Repeating motifs on the bowl resemble stylized pine trees. At the base of each tree is a cross with two or three horizontal bars. Triangles on pedestal and designs on base resemble petals (calyx?). Coiled. Collected in Yosemite Valley region. Central California, Maidu. |
